Front left fender for earlier 125p

Although Poland was the place where 125 was produced with thousands, sadly NOS parts didn`t managed the hard and strange politics of FSO.
Even now, for us it is relativly hard to find any of the body parts for older type of 125. Moreofthen it is easier to find whole body with small amount of rust, to find factry body parts. You have to search, you have to contact many 125 Classic owners in Polnad, but even then You have no shure that you`ll find some body parts.

Every one in Poland, that was ever re-building classical 125 (68-74) has greate problems with body. Sometimes it was easier to re-build original ones using fenders from MR-model. It was easier, less stressfull and cheaper, that finding classical fenders for narrow indicators...

Wish you luck finding them...you should also try ebay, and allegro.pl....

I think you need "błotnik" - in polish means fender.

Craftsman... hmm... are you sure that is high quality work: no grinding or filling requed, the sheet remain plain after welding etc? Then i'm maybe interesting. Depends the prices, off curse. Can you give me an offer in email (see below), include cost of part, craftsman's wage and what you want for your troubles... i'm not one of those crazy millionairs, and possible my budget are low for this way, but who knows...

Thanks, you are right, this car are very good project, because it is rust-free because that electrostatic repaint in 1975, and all of the original trims are their place, except the side-panels of trunk and the left foot operated windscreen washer. Off curse, it needs those typical things as every car, for example propeller shaft joints and bearing, rear axe readjustment (it is little bit noisy) etc but they are easy and cheap repairs, and I feel myself lucky, because i bought it tree weeks ago for 1200 zloty with license valid until 2005 april, four barely used Semperit tires on wheels, 20 liter gas in the tank, and a nice lot of NOS (new old stock) parts as very clear taillight lenses, five-screw type fuel pumps, air and gas filters etc, even a hungarian made spark pug, what is out of production more as ten years ago.
However 125p, mostly the earlier version are well known, but rare car in Hungary. In the early 70s many 125p used in goverment, but in late 70s they replaced with Ladas. The old ones sold as used car like mine, and most one rusted away for nowadays, or used up by hungarian gipsy mens. To see how rare is it now, notice, that here are fan clubs for each socialist cars in hungary, BUT the 125p. (And no club for Polonez and Syrena, but they are never offered on hungarian market.)
My project will begin at spring, because i'm prefer warm weather and natural light for body works. I can't promise blog about it, because car repairing are very tiring and always makes me nervous, but will tell the story. Until this, i'll fill up the "Edytuj konto"
